The popular calculated graphs feature in envisage allows you to apply any mathematical formula to your graphs.
While many users know and use calculated graphs to perform all kinds of functions, what you might not know is that you can also adjust the frequency of a calculated graph.
Let me show you how this works.
Let’s say we track sales and we use a calculated graph to add up the individual results of the sales teams, as shown below.
Because the individual sales are reported DAILY, the Totals Sales graph is also, be default, DAILY.
However, management decide they want to see the Total Sales for the WEEK and the MONTH.
This can be achieved by creating two additional calculated graphs with the same formula. Only this time we choose the default view to reflect what we want.
At a glance, we can easily see the Total Sales for the day, week or month.
