These awesome new features have been in development for some time and are being thoroughly tested by some of our biggest clients.
Let me give you a sneak peek at what’s coming.
Automatic Trend Recognition
Objectives and Key Results
Events Log
Here’s how they work:
Automatic Trend Recognition
Trend recognition will warn you of downtrends and uptrends. This is especially useful for management when you have lots of graphs! This trend recognition feature is also the first stage of a two-stage development. The second stage will provide a proven formula for fixing the downtrend or continuing the uptrend (we’ve got a bit more work to do on that, but it’s coming!)
Objectives
Our Objectives feature brings together Objectives & Key Results from the book Measure What Matters and adds to it a key missing feature of most OKR systems; the ability to link key results to live statistics, enabling you to track the progress of those plans. It’s a system used by the world's tech giants (like Google, LinkedIn, Twitter and Uber as we wrote about here.)
One of the key principles of OKRs is that all major objectives are set by management and the rest of the team must align their own objectives to management's existing objectives. And every objective is linked to a statistic (or several stats) so that progress is easily monitored and corrected.
Events Log
Why did a stat go down? Why did it go up?
In six months from now, it’s easy to forget what happened. And in a big organization it’s almost impossible to track. That is, until now!
The Events Log automatically tracks all of the major changes in your organization, such as:
New employees
Changes in organizational structure, for example transfers or new postings
When a statistic achieves a new high or low
Anything else you want to manually track, via the statistic notes
Best of all, it’s searchable! Anytime you need to go back and find “What happened?” the data is there for you.
So that’s what we’ve been doing, working hard in the background building these new features.
Stay tuned because there’s more to come!
