What statistics should you track?
You can track 20 stats on the basic envisage account, so we’ve created a list of the top 20 stats you should keep. And we’ll share the spreadsheet so you can upload them in a flash.
Here’s the list of the top 20 stats:
Income - This is how much money collected for the week.
Sales $ - Total value of all sales for the week. This is often different to income which can be delayed.
Sales # - Number of all sales for the week.
Total Cash on Hand - Money in the bank at the end of the week.
Total Bills Due - Total bills due and unpaid at the end of the week.
Services Delivered $ - Total value of goods or services delivered.
Services Delivered # - Total number of goods or services delivered.
Staff # - Total number of staff on your team.
Client Complaints # - Total number of client complaints. This would be an inverted graph with zero at the top.
Refunds $ - total value of refunds.
Refund # - Number of refunds for the week.
New Clients # - Number of new clients that spent money with you for the first time.
New Leads # - Number of new leads or prospects that joined your mailing list.
Total Clients # - Total number of clients on your mailing list.
Promotion $ - Total amount spent on promotion, including emails, advertising, direct mail, social media.
Promotion # - Total number of promotion items and ads sent out.
Success Stories # - Total number of success stories collected.
Employee Revenue - Divide your Income (graph 1) by the number of staff on your team (graph 8). This provides a measure of business efficiency.
Sales Conversion - Divide New Leads # (graph 13) by Sales # (graph 3) to monitor the effectiveness of your sales team.
Net Cash - Total Cash (graph 4) minus Total Bills Due (graph 5). This provides a guide to business solvency. You want the result to be positive!
Keep in mind, many of these stats represent totals. Individuals should track their own stats which added together give you the total. Sales is a typical example, where each salesperson tracks their own performance and the Total Sales is automatically calculated using a calculated graph.
