Welcome to the Envisage Blog

Mikel Lindsaar, Founder exec.io, creator of envisage and enlight

Envisage is now up and running with hundreds of users signed up.  It's great to see our creation get started with lots of users and I thought for our first blog post I'd share some of our plans for the blog and what we want to build into the future.

In this blog post I want to share with you where I plan to take Envisage and hopefully can bring you along for the ride, taking your feedback and building the most useful business analytics tool out there.

Envisage's goal is to help you manage a company, non profit or even your personal life. It has long been shown that the best way to manage any activity is via measuring key statistics and then adjusting what you do to help these statistics improve.  By measuring the important statistics on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, (the more frequently the better) you can spot trends and apply the right actions to turn them around before they crash.

To begin on this journey we have created a very focused user interface.

You can view statistics, compare them with other statistics and print them out. You can change the way the statistics are displayed, aggregating them in to longer periods by summing the values together and limiting how long a period you want to view. You can create complex calculated graphs made up of many sub graphs or create comparison graphs showing multiple sub graphs on the same chart. You can invite team members into your organisation to enter their own data or share information.  You can have multiple accounts with different billing information and each account can have multiple organisations each with their own separate statistics.  All this is great and good, but we have a long way to go and a lot of features in the pipeline!

We are working hard on making Envisage the best platform out there and via this blog my team and I will keep you up to date on how we are going and what's coming out.

Of course, at any time, if you have any questions, suggestions or comments about Envisage, you can send us a support request via the help button in the bottom right of the screen when you are signed in or email us at support@envisage.io.

Thanks again for your interest and hopefully long term use of Envisage. I hope we can exceed your expectations.
