Use Quotas and Targets to Get More Done
The subject of setting goals and achieving them has been a topic of great discussion throughout the ages, from the ancient Greeks to modern-day gurus and entrepreneurs.
But did you know that envisage can help you achieve your goals faster?
It’s a feature called Quotas and Targets and here’s how it works:
Firstly, let’s define the terms.
A target is what you want to achieve by a certain date. For example, $200,000 in sales by the end of the month.
A quota is the daily or weekly amount you need to meet in order to achieve that target. For example, to meet a $200,000 monthly sales target, the weekly quota would be $50,000.
Let’s add these quotas and targets to our Sales Total graph.

Choose Manage Quotas/Targets
To set the quotas, choose the start and end date and the value we want to achieve over a given timeframe. In our example, to reach our target of $200k for the month of October, we need to make a quota of $50k per week.
To set the target, again we choose the start and end date and the value. The target for the month of October is $200k.
Here’s what the graphs look like:
As you can see, the Champion Printing Sales team have achieved their monthly target and never once fell behind.
That’s the power of setting targets and assigning each individual their own quota to ensure the target is met.
Quotas and Targets can be used over any timeframe—daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly.
