Connecting Mailchimp to Envisage Using Zapier

envisage is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mailchimp or Zapier.

If you want to easily track how many emails you’re sending, you can connect Mailchimp to envisage using Zapier.

In this article, we’ll show you how.

First create a new zap and connect your Mailchimp Account.

Then choose New Campaign as shown below.

Next connect your envisage account to zapier (if you haven’t already) as shown here.

The first action is to choose what you want to do in envisage; you have 5 options:

  1. Create a Graph

  2. Set a Value - puts a value on a graph. This will overwrite any existing values for the same time period.

  3. Increment Value - this will add the new value to the current value of a graph.

  4. Decrement Value - this will minus the new value from the current value of a graph.

  5. Delete a Graph

Our goal here is to track how many emails we’re sending each week. We might send 2 campaigns a week, therefore we’ll choose “Increment Value” so that each time we send an email, it will add it to the current value of the graphs.

The next step is to link the graph we want to update. For that we’ll need the Graph API Token. You can find this following these 3 simple steps.

Copy that Graph API Token and add it to Zapier as shown below.

Next is the Period, which refers to the date and time this occurred.

Finally, we want to know how many emails were sent. This value will be added to the graph.

That’s it! Save your zap and make it live.

Now every time an email is sent, the statistics in envisage will automatically be updated.

Cool hey?
